I would be happy to help you find the correct hand winch to replace the damaged electric winch on your 2012 Forest River Premier Pop-Up Camper, but we have not had a chance to do this conversion so you will need to compare the mounting pattern of your existing winch to the hand winch to make sure they will bolt up the same.

If your loaded trailer tongue weight (which should be 320 lbs - 480 lbs) plus the weight of cargo in the back of your 2000 Chevy Tahoe is about 600 lbs then the Curt MV Weight Distribution System # C17050 is going to be right in your wheelhouse. None of our weight distribution systems mount 36" back from the center of the hitch ball so you will need to use the Curt Hanger Kit # C17005 to accomplish this.

Replacing pull-out steps won't require a bunch of modifications if we can find a matching fit to your current steps. To find the correct fit we'll need to know the entry height (measurement from the ground up to the mounting bracket) and the bracket width (horizontal spacing for the mounting brackets).
